The students and staff of Trinity Academy at Thorne, near Doncaster?have?had another successful year of charity fund-raising. Cambodia Action is their?international charity.

In?October, Ivor Greer attended a morning Assembly to give a brief update on Cambodia.? Two Year 9 students - Casey and Simon - were able to hand?over?a cheque for ?800?towards the work.?

in November a "Cambodia focus" day?is being planned thoughtout the Academy with competitions for each?tutor group.

This will help to build on the links already established - through the football shirts and letters that have been exchanged.

During the day there will be illustrations and events in Cambodia in all subject areas. Also there?will be?a Cambodian "flavour" to the meals and the music in the Cafeteria.?
